    Fields

    Name Description
    AdvancedLTCA

TE calculated using MASTA's Advanced LTCA Calculation (Micro Geometry Mode), constant misalignment i.e. no excitation from overturning moment.

    AdvancedSystemDeflectionCurrentLoadCaseSetUp

An existing load case setup to run Advanced System Deflection is used to calculate TE and, if licensed, varying misalignment as excitation sources. Note that misalignment excitation is only available if Harmonic Analysis Options> Excitation from Advanced System Deflection Options> Include Misalignment Excitation? is selected.

    AdvancedSystemDeflectionSingleToothPassUsingAdvancedLTCA

An Advanced System Deflection calculation is set up with 32 time steps covering one tooth pass of the specified gear set. Advanced LTCA is used to calculate TE and, if licensed, varying misalignment as excitation sources. Note that misalignment excitation is only available if Harmonic Analysis Options> Excitation from Advanced System Deflection Options> Include Misalignment Excitation? is selected.

    BasicLTCA

TE calculated using MASTA's Basic LTCA Calculation (Micro Geometry Mode), constant misalignment i.e. no excitation from overturning moment.

    Calculated

    ElectricMachineSpeedDependentRotorAndStatorLoads

Includes, among others, excitations from torque ripple on the rotor and dynamic loads on the stator teeth.

    GleasonCAGELTCA

TE from Gleason CAGE's LTCA calculation.

    GleasonCAGETCA

TE from Gleason CAGE's TCA calculation.

    GleasonGEMSXML

    Gleason GEMS XML

    KIMoSXML

    KIMoS XML

    LoadCaseAngleVaryingLoad

Converts an angle-varying point load into an excitation.

    LoadCaseTimeVaryingLoad

    Load Case Time Varying Load

    None

    None

    TCA

TE from MASTA's Bevel/Hypoid Gear TCA calculation.

    UnitFirstHarmonicTE

Sinusoidal TE with 1 micron amplitude for cylindrical gears or 1 micro radian for bevel/hypoid gears, no excitation from overturning moment.

    UnitHarmonicForceFRF

Response shown for a unit dynamic mesh force in the line of action

    UnitHarmonicMomentFRF

Response shown for a unit dynamic mesh moment

    UserSpecified

TE is specified by the user. Select User-Specified in the drop down box and press the Set User-Specified TE button to specify the TE.
